Photography Studio Brand Concept

This is a visual identity I designed for a photography studio based in New York. The name ‘Velvet Aperture’ evokes softness and luxury which I wanted to reflect in the typography of the logo which is a simple circular monogram, referencing the lens of a camera.
Their instagram feed consists of draped linens, still life scenes, editorial fashion shoots and behind the scenes content to demonstrate the brand’s understated but carefully curated luxury.
I used Canva to design a dark red business card concept with embossed lettering. This concept aims to showcase my ability to craft a cohesive narrative across digital and print media which fits the brand identity of Velvet Aperture, a high-end, editorial photography studio.
